Utter Discord

I am in love with so many people but I hate all of them. There’s always some reason to run away. It’s a curse.

Never fall in love with a poet
for their words are sometimes lies
on occasions they’re a shield
on occasions a disguise

They will take you on a journey
upon which they bare their soul
in a bid to ease your burdens
in a bid to make you whole

But in every word they choose
for the stories that they tell
lies a little piece of heaven
and a little piece of hell

Tormented souls we poets are
sometimes quite broken and despaired
in search of lost expressions
missed by others who once cared

Never fall in love with a poet
unless you’re prepared to share their pain
to hold them close on the darkest nights
over and again

I’m way too trusting. Never again though….I will now have to pay hundreds of dollars to replace home and car keys, get my apartments re-keyed, and my passport replaced. ugh. next couple weeks are gonna suck. 

BUT my best friend in the whole world is coming to town tomorrow if I can figure out how to get to the airport lol.

So last week I woke up holding a light bulb in the air.

……….I unscrewed the hotel’s lamp light bulb in my sleep. 

to keep your chin up.

You make the hardest things seem easy. 

….and no i’m not bragging, because once they fall in love with me, they hate themselves. I am SO complicated and a horrible partner. I do basically everything wrong in a relationship and would probably be better just as friends.
